How it works
A request for quote to suppliers is the price request you send them for the materials or products you need. In Oifers it starts from your requirement list and ends with the offer you send your client.
Pick products and quantities from your catalogue; anything missing you add to the catalogue on the spot. If you already have the client offer, you turn it into a requirement list with one click.
Choose suppliers from your list and send each one only the lines that concern them; the same line can go to several. Set a deadline and the supplier gets an automatic reminder 24 hours before it.
The supplier opens the request from the email, creates an account on the spot and fills in price, availability and lead time on each line. They can also propose their own products and attach files.
On every line you see the suppliers' prices next to the price in your own catalogue. If one supplier answers in EUR and another in RON, you compare on the same basis, at the exchange rate you choose.
You accept a supplier's quote in full or only for the lines it won. On a client offer's requirement list you order once the client has accepted; on an independent one, right away. Orders appear in the Orders tab.
From the comparison you generate the offer for your client, with your markup applied automatically and editable per line. The client never sees your cost or margin, and the offer goes out as a link they accept online.
The supplier gets a request link by email and answers in the Oifers offer editor.
A requirement list doesn't have to start from an offer. Create an independent requirement list when you buy for stock, for the workshop or for a job that has no offer yet, optionally inside a project.
You send the requests, compare and order the same way. When a client turns up, you generate the client offer straight from the requirement list.
Oifers doesn't look for suppliers on your behalf and doesn't publish your requests. You send the request for quote to the suppliers in your own list, kept separate from your clients, and they answer from the link they received. Suppliers need an Oifers account, which they create from the request page.
Supplier requests, the comparison and orders are included in every plan, even before you choose one. Suppliers don't take a seat in your plan. A supplier's quote is a regular offer in their own account and counts against that account's 10 free offers, like any published offer.

Request-for-quote software
Oifers is quoting software that also covers the buying side: you request prices from suppliers, compare their quotes line by line and turn the result into the offer for your client. Instead of copying prices from emails and spreadsheets into a comparison table, the answers land directly on the lines of your requirement list.
Oifers is not public procurement software: it doesn't run tenders or public award procedures, it works with your company's own suppliers. Use it in construction, plumbing and electrical work, interior finishing, solar or any business where the client's price depends on supplier prices.
Yes. The supplier creates an account from the request page, with the email the request was sent to already filled in, or with Google, and answers right away. If they already have an account, the request shows up directly under “Requests received”. Their quote counts against their own account's 10 free offers, like any published offer.
No. The supplier only sees the request title you chose and the lines you send them. Your client's details and your selling price stay in your account.
Yes. A supplier can answer in your currency or in another one. In the comparison, prices are converted at the exchange rate you choose, so you compare lines on the same basis.
